These New Financial Rules In November Will Impact You: Bank Of Baroda, LPG, Whatsapp & More

The app will no longer work on certain iPhone and Android phones.

We have now entered November which is usually the time when companies and the government introduce changes and new rules.

These changes have a widespread impact on the lives of the average citizen.

Here are some of the big ones to note.

Contents

Bank of Baroda

From November 1, the bank will charge separate fees for availing banking services.

Customers will have to pay service fees for depositing and withdrawing money.

They will have to pay Rs 150 service fees for taking loans.

While the first three deposits in a month can be made for free, from the fourth time onwards the customer will have to pay Rs 40.

Jan Dhan account holders are exempted but will have to pay Rs 100 to withdraw money beyond the prescribed limit.

Indian Railways

The national transporter is changing time tables of trains across the country.

Those affected include 100 trains running in four divisions of Rajasthan, 13,000 passenger trains and 7,000 goods trains.

Timings of some special trains originating from Western Railway have also been changed to align with non-monsoon timings from today (Nov 1).

The schedule of about 30 Rajdhani Expresses running across the country will also change from November 1.

LPG Prices

Cooking gas prices have been hiked by Rs 266 from today onwards (Nov 1).

19 kg Commercial cylinders in Delhi will cost Rs 2000.50 from the earlier rate of Rs 1734.

The rate for the same is Rs 1,950 in Mumbai, Rs 2,073.50 in Kolkata and Rs 2,133 in Chennai.

However, it is a sign of relief that domestic LPG cylinders prices have not been increased.

New System For Booking Gas Cylinder

Upon booking a cylinder, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the user.

This OTP will have to be shared with the executives when they show up to make the delivery.

WhatsApp

The app will no longer work on certain iPhone and Android phones.

These are Android phones that are running on Android 4.0.3 or lower, and Apple iPhones that are running on iOS 9 or older.

iPhone SE, iPhone 6S, and iPhone 6S are the Apple models.

In order to continue using the app, one will have to do so on devices running on updated OS.
