Toyota is now planning to introduce 4 new cars in India, all the span of the next 1 year. If you are a fan of Toyota cars, and are looking to buy a brand new Toyota, here are the four upcoming cars by the Japanese carmaker!

Toyota Belta

The car which is expected to be a rebatched version of the Maruti Ciaz, the Toyota Belta is being rumored as a direct replacement to the slow-selling Yaris sedan in India. Even though there is no official confirmation, the car is said to be launched during the last months of the year, and it will compete against Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Skoda Rapid and the Volkswagen Vento. This car will be powered by a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 104bhp of maximum power and 138 Nm of torque. It will probably be paired with a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque convertor automatic.

New Midsize SUV

Maruti and Toyota share a lot of their components. And according to reports, both brands will be collaborating for this new SUV as well. Toyota is expected to load this car with features like connected car technology, front & rear parking sensors, a 360-degree parking camera, ESP, and multiple airbags. Premium features like a big touchscreen infotainment system, electric sunroof, ambient lighting, etc. are also expected. Though nothing has been announced officially, the Rs 10 lakh SUV is expected to be launched by 2022. 

Toyota Rumion

Toyota Rumion MPV is based on Ertiga MPV and the name has already been trademarked in India. The car is expected to come with black interiors and wooden trim. It will be equipped with a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 105bhp of power and 138 Nm of torque. It will be paired with a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque convertor automatic.

Toyota Innova Crysta

The CNG version of Toyota Crysta MPV is being tested by Toyota and is expected to be launched in the end of 2021 or early next year. The new model will be based on the entry level G-trim and will be powered by  a 2.7L, 4-cylinder petrol engine paired to a CNG kit. The engine will deliver 166 PS of power and 245 Nm of torque and will be offered in manual gearbox version only.
