Many IT businesses are mass-vaccinating their personnel to ensure that they are protected from Covid, while also preparing them to return to work. Most MNC employees have already received their first round of vaccination, and some have also completed their second dosage.

Not only TCS, but also Wipro, Deloitte, HDFC, Axis Bank, and others are planning to reopen their offices in the next months. Big IT firms are planning for a hybrid work model, in which employees can work a few days from the office and a few days from home.

Some top companies have given staff the freedom to work from anywhere; nevertheless, TCS has already requested that employees return to their main location.

Companies Working To Adopt A Hybrid Work Model!

Hybrid approach is basically when employees can work from home as well as in office on some days.

As of now ‘work from anywhere’ will not be possible and Employees will have to return to the location for which they were hired.

TCS has announced that it is moving from work from home to work from the office! By the end of this year or the beginning of next year, the corporation plans to call 90% of its employees back to work. 

Other than TCS many other companies like Wipro, TCS, HCL Tech resume work from the office. 

Infosys Working To Adopt A Hybrid Work Model!

Infosys had a total employee base of 2.67 lakh at the end of the June quarter, as compared to 2.59 lakh in the March quarter.

Infosys, while announcing the quarterly earnings, said that it is engaging to adopt a hybrid work model as more of its employees have been vaccinated against Covid-19.

“With over 86% of Infoscions in India having received at least one dose of ‘vaccination’, we are now preparing to embrace the hybrid work model. We have equipped employees with the resources they need to be productive, cyber-secure, stay connected, and maintain a work-life balance. Our talent strategy also factors in expanded hiring pools that include new communities and work locations,”
