Many corporations are now planning to reopen offices in full force the moment, companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, and HCL Technologies, Wipro are planning for work from office for employees as Covid-19 cases are slowly decreasing.

Many IT businesses are mass-vaccinating their personnel to ensure that they are protected from Covid, while also preparing them to return to work. Most MNC employees have already received their first round of vaccination, and some have also completed their second dosage.

Not only TCS, but also Wipro, Deloitte, HDFC, Axis Bank, and others are planning to reopen their offices in the next months. Big IT firms are planning for a hybrid work model, in which employees can work a few days from the office and a few days from home.

Wipro Calls Employees To The Office Twice A Week!

Wipro allowed its employees in the leadership roles to return to the office from early September. In earlier September, Wipro Chairman Rishad Premji announced calling employees back to the office.

“After 18 long months, our leaders @Wipro are coming back to the office starting tomorrow (twice a week). All fully vaccinated, all ready to go – safely and socially distanced,”

After January 2022 the corporation would progressively expand the number of people on the premises, according to the top official.

Because more people will be back in the offices, Govil believes that this will increase engagement and teamwork. He further stated that the organisation ensures that visitors to the offices are the only ones who have been double-vaccinated against COVID-19. 

Infosys Working To Adopt A Hybrid Work Model!

Infosys had a total employee base of 2.67 lakh at the end of the June quarter, as compared to 2.59 lakh in the March quarter.

Infosys, while announcing the quarterly earnings, said that it is engaging to adopt a hybrid work model as more of its employees have been vaccinated against Covid-19.

“With over 86% of Infoscions in India having received at least one dose of ‘vaccination’, we are now preparing to embrace the hybrid work model. We have equipped employees with the resources they need to be productive, cyber-secure, stay connected, and maintain a work-life balance. Our talent strategy also factors in expanded hiring pools that include new communities and work locations,”
