Tata Punch Variants And Price

The micro-SUV is offered in a total of four variants named Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative. 

Basically, these variants are being termed as ‘Personas’ by the carmaker. 

The newest SUV from Tata Motors is launched in India at a starting price of Rs 5.49 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom, Delhi). 

It is noteworthy here that these prices are valid only till December 31st, 2021.

Please note here that AMT is available for an additional Rs 60,000 over the price of the respective manual transmission trim. 

Tata Punch One Of The Safest Car In India 

As per the recently concluded Global NCAP crash tests, the Tata Punch is one of the safest cars in the country today

During the test, Punch scored a full 5-star rating for adult protection. 

To be precise, the vehicle scored 16.45 / 17 points for adult safety and 40.89 / 49 points for child occupant safety.

Exterior Design, Engine And Transmission

The design of the final production version of Punch has not changed much from the HBX concept that was shown to the world at the 2020 Auto Expo. 

In terms of exterior design looks, it is in sync with Punch’s elder siblings namely the Harrier and the Safari. 

So, it gets a split lighting design at the front along with an aggressive face. 

The new micro-SUV gets power from a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine that is good enough to produce 84 hp of maximum power along with 6000 rpm of peak torque. 

Its motor is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox along with an optional AMT and it is the same as Altroz and the Tiago.

Key Features

Tata Punch gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. 

It has an optional Tata’s iRA connectivity suite for the top-end Creative variant. 

Further offered with 90-degree opening doors for easy and smooth entry and exit. 

Apart from this, it is offered with automatic climate control, cruise control, cooled glovebox, 4-speakers, auto-sensing wipers and also, auto headlights. 

For buyers, booking is already open for a minimum token amount of Rs 21,000 and is expected to be priced quite competitively for the Indian market.
