Realme 8s 5G, Realme 8i and Realme Pad have been launched in India. The upcoming iPhones will launch on September 14, the iPhone 13 series. Xiaomi has already started working on the Redmi K50 series phones, which will come in early 2022. Redmi K50 series will launch in the Chinese market first, and later will launch in India to succeed Mi 11X series, the new rebranded Redmi K40 phones.

Realme 8S

Realme 8S will come with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display offering 90Hz refresh rate offering a screen resolution of 2400 X 1080 pixels, 90.50 percent screen-to-body ratio and a punch-hole camera. The display has 100 percent DCI-P3 colour Space, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 600nits brightness and as low as 1nit of brightness. Realme 8S will run on MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset paired with ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB internal storage, further expandable via a microSD card up to 1TB.

The company is offering a special additional 5GB Dynamic RAM Expansion (DRE) technology which will allow the device to switch between apps and for multitasking. The Realme device ships with Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11.

Coming to optics, Realme 8S will come with a triple camera setup on the back offering a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF HDR and 6P lens and a 2MP B&W lens with f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP 4cm macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. Realme 8S has a 16MP snapper. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. Realme 8S price in India starts at Rs 17,999 with 6GB RAM and128GB storage.

Realme 8i 

Realme 8i will come with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display offering 120Hz refresh rate, 2412×1080 pixels resolution, 90.80 percent screen-to-body ratio and a punch-hole camera. The phone offers 100 percent DCI-P3 colour Space, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 600nits brightness and 1nit low brightness. Realme 8i will run on MediaTek Helio G96 chipset paired with ARM Mali-G57 with either 4GB or 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage, further expandable up to 256GB.

The 6GB RAM Realme 8i model supports additional 5GB virtual RAM functionality. The phone runs on Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 custom skin out of the box.

Coming to optics, Realme 8i has a triple camera setup on the back featuring a 50MP primary Samsung S5KJN1 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF HDR, and 5P lens. paired with a 2MP B&W lens and a 2MP 4cm macro lens. The device has a 16MP snapper. Realme 8i has a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. Realme 8i price in India starts at Rs 13,999 for the base model.

Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro

Redmi K50 series phones will come with the upcoming Qualcomm flagship Snapdragon 898 and the current Snapdragon 888. Redmi K50 series has recently been leaked, and the upcoming Redmi smartphones are tipped to come with a set of upgraded features such as faster charging, better screen quality, faster processing and much more. The Redmi K40 series successors are said to have the best technology available and ever seen on any Redmi device.

Redmi K50 will run on Snapdragon 888, while the higher-end Redmi K50 Pro and Redmi K50 Pro Plus / Redmi K50 Ultra will come with Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 898.

The company unveiled the Redmi K40 smartphones for its domestic market earlier this year, and launched the devices in different foreign markets under different names. The company brought in Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro+ in India as Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro, while the upcoming Poco F3 GT in India is going to be a rebranded Redmi K40 Gaming Enhanced Edition.

iPhone 13 Series: iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max

The upcoming iPhones will launch on September 14, the company confirmed. All the models, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, the Pro max model, and even the mini variants are said to launch on the same day. Even the rumored Apple AirPods 3 is expected to be unveiled at the same event. The new iPhones phones will be unveiled on September 14, pre-orders will start from September 17 and iPhone 13 first sale will start on September 24. Apple iPhone 13 Pro models are said to come with 120Hz OLED displays made by Samsung.

Recently iPhone 13 was leaked to come with a maximum internal storage capacity of 1TB. Currently the latest iPhones come with a maximum of 512GB internal storage. The upcoming iPhones are said to come with improved LiDAR technology on all iPhone 13 models, also confirmed before.

Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro

The upcoming Google Pixel 6 phones have been teased on Instagram, hinting at a Tuesday 19 launch, which means Pixel 6 series will be unveiled on October 19. The company previously confirmed the availability of the upcoming Google phones in eight countries: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, the UK, and the US. Google is yet to confirm Pixel 6 series launch date, but the Tuesday 19 text means October 19. We may again not get the new Pixel 6 devices in India. 

Pixel 5a was recently released, and Pixel 5a India launch is expected soon succeeding the popular Pixel 4a in mid-range category. Pixel 6 will come with FHD+ resolution display and Pixel 6 Pro could have QHD+ resolution display. Google Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro will have the selfie camera located at the top-centre. Pixel 6 Pro could be able to record 4K videos with the front camera.

Also, the code revealed that Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro will offer up to 7x zooming capability while recording videos in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.

Pixel 6 Pro might come with a 5x telephoto camera, while the Pixel 6 series may miss out on Super Res Zoom. For the first time, the company will be using in-house chipset Whitechapel chips for the upcoming Pixel 6 series. The upcoming Pixel series will include two models: Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Popular leakster Jon Prosser from Front Page Tech leaked the complete specifications. The devices will sport a dual-tone finish with a thin strip of orange and the ‘G’ logo in orange.
