IIT Madras Declared India’s #1 College Across All Categories: Govt Ranking Of Top Colleges In India

Reportedly, NIRF Rankings 2021 released by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday, September 9.

 NIRF Rankings 2021 Highlights

The Rankings have been given to various categories in the education field that includes  Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Overall, Research etc.

In this ranking, IIT Madras has aced the Rankings in the overall category. 

While the second place was secured by IISc Bengaluru followed by IIT Bombay at the third place. 

NIRF has come up with the sixth annual ranking list of higher educational institutes of the country. 

The rankings for all colleges and universities across the country were given by the Ministry based on teaching, learning, resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcome; outreach and inclusivity; and peer perception. 

Apart from the overall rankings, stream-wise rankings have also been released in this report.

Basically, the NIRF rankings 2021 list is announced for ten categories including Overall, University, Management, College, Pharmacy, Medical, Engineering, Architecture, ARIIA (Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements) and Law.
