There was a 17.35 per cent gain this month on the BSE Sensex, With a gain of 16.86 per cent, TCS is the second-best Sensex gainer in August.

So far on August, 5 BSE Sensex components have been trading in the red.
The worst performance on the BSE Sensex is Bajaj Auto, which is down 3.07 per cent, while NPTC is down 2.71 per cent, Maruti Suzuki is down 2.6 per cent, SBI is down 2.08 per cent, and Dr Reddy’s Lab is down 0.73 per cent. So far in August, the BSE Sensex has gained 7.44% August.
