New Honda Amaze 2021 Facelift Features Leaked: Can It Fight Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura?

Japanese public multinational conglomerate manufacturer, Honda is all set to launch a new version of its sedan, Amaze. And now, some images of the facelifted Amaze have been leaked online, along with the car’s details and features.

The company has already started accepting pre-launch bookings for the car. The token amount is set at Rs. 21,000 if you book it at an authorized dealership and Rs. 5000 if registered online.

Facelifted Honda Amaze: Exterior Features

Honda Amaze will come with a revised front face that will be fitted with a revised radiator grille embellished in chrome, redesigned LED headlamps, and reprofiled front bumper. There also will be new LED fog lamp housings surrounded by chrome trims on the front bumper.

Additionally, the blacked out part of the grille will have a piano glass finish and a  slatted pattern that will replace a honeycomb mesh pattern. The same glossy black finish will be on the lower bumper that will include the central air intake. There will also be new alloy wheel design on the side profile of the car and new chrome door handles.

The car will be offered in new exterior color options. Until now, the car was available in five colour options – Golden Brown Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver, Metallic Radiant Red, and Modern Steel Metallic. There will be chrome garnish and reflectors on the bumper on the back of the car.

The cabin will come with some changes, such as a new fabric upholstery with contoured seats, a revised dashboard layout with satin silver accents, an updated touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There will also be a 7-inch multi-info display, height-adjustable driver’s seat, keyless entry, a push button start/stop, cruise control, rear multi-view camera with guidelines.

Engine Specifications

The car will be powered by two engine options- a 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine and a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine. Also, both these engines will be paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic gearbox. The petrol variant produces 89 bhp and 110 Nm of peak torque.Whereas, the oil burner kicks out 99 bhp and 200 Nm of peak torque when paired to a manual gearbox. When paired with a CVT automatic gearbox, it produces an output of 79 bhp and 160 Nm of peak torque.
