India Post Giving Rs 81,000/Month Salary For Class 10, 12 Passouts! (Job Profile, Eligibility & More)

India Post, the oldest messenger in the country also provides jobs to thousands of people even today. And the department is trying to expand by offering various new-age services such as India Post Payments Bank. To support its functioning the department is on a recruitment spree. And the department has asked applications for recruitment of meritorious sportspersons in the cadre of Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, and Multi-Tasking Staff. The recruitment is happening for the Punjab Postal Circle

Details of Vacancies

The total number of vacancies is 57. There are 45 vacancies for Postal Assistant, 9 vacancies for sorting Assistant, and 3 vacancies for the multi-tasking staff. 

For postal assistant and sorting assistant and sorting assistant the salary structure is as follows – Rs 25500 to Rs 81100 in Level 4 as per Pay Matrix specified in Part A of schedule of CCS (Revised Pay) Rules 2016 plus admissible allowances. (Rs 5200 – 20200 Pay Band-1) + Grade Pay Rs 2400/- under Pre Revised Scale.

For Multi-Tasking staff, the salary structure is – Rs 18000 to Rs 56900 in Level 1 as per Pay Matrix specified in Part A of schedule of CCS (Revised Pay) Rules 2016 plus admissible allowances. (Rs 5200 – 20200 Pay Band-1) + Grade Pay Rs 1800/- under Pre Revised Scale.

Eligibility for the vacancies

The candidate with a qualification of 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University can apply for the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant.

Basic Computer Training from a recognized Computer Training Certificates from Central Government/State Government/University/Boards etc. is also an additional condition to be eligible for this post.

For, Multi-Tasking Staff – the candidate must have completed 10th standard or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Also, the candidate should have studied the local language at least up to the 10th standard.

The age limit for the post of postal assistant and sorting assistant is 18-27 years. For the post of multi-tasking, a candidate should have an age between 18-25 years. 

It should be noted that age relaxation for reserved category candidates will be observed as per government norms Applicants will be charged Rs 100 as an application fee through e-payment (challan) in the name of CPMG PUNJAB CIRCLE at any computerized post office throughout the country.
