Make Videos For Indian Railways, Earn Rs 8 Lakh! (How To Apply, Rules, Eligibility)

The winner of the contest will be selected on the basis of the concept, content and quality of the video.

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a vlogging contest open to all, where the winner would be awarded with a sum of Rs 1 lakh, in addition to a certificate and trophy.

IRCTC x CoRover

IRCTC and the world’s first human-centric conversational AI platform, CoRover has partnered and launched a contest for all the content and video creators out there.

In a tweet post featuring the actor writer Shekhar Suman, IRCTC has opened the application portal for vlogs, which would include any of the tourist destinations in India, Indian Trains, Indian Railways and products and services of IRCTC.

It is inviting applicants to create and submit videos featuring or explaining about:

  • Any tourist place in India,
  • Indian Railways and products, and 
  • services of IRCTC, like IRCTC Ticketing, Catering, IRCTC Tourism, IRCTC Air, IRCTC Chatbot, IRCTC Affiliation, and more.

The applicant can be an individual or an organisation and must submit the video on this link: https://corover.ai/vlog/

The last date for application is August 31, 2021.

Winners of Vlog Contest

The winner of the contest will be selected on the basis of the concept, content and quality of the video.

Information suggests that about 300 (winning) videos will be shortlisted and each of these winners, except the top three will receive a gift card worth Rs 500 and a certificate.

The top three winners will be awarded a trophy from IRCTC & CoRover along with these prizes:

  • Winner: Rs 1 Lakh + Certificate + Trophy
  • Runner up: Rs 50000 + Certificate + Trophy 
  • 2nd Runner up: Rs 25000 + Certificate + Trophy 

Applications from all states and UTs across India will be entertained and one applicant can submit more than one video.

The selected videos would be uploaded in the official channels of IRCTC and/or Maharaja, on the description of the management (IRCTC & CoRover joint management team).

Please note that while the video creator’s name will be mentioned in the description, the selected video(s) will become the property of IRCTC and users will have no right to claim any kind of copyright on the same anytime in the future. Moreover, users will not upload or share the same videos with any other channel. 

Furthermore, these videos can only be featured in any channel by IRCTC and only on the decision of IRCTC.
