Ola Electric Scooter Gets 100,000 Pre-Bookings In 24 Hours! New World Record!

Within the first 24 hours, 1 Lakh people booked Ola Scooter

Ola Scooter is the electric scooter offered by OLA Electric. Even though the company has not yet announced all the features and specifications of the scooter, people seem to have huge faith in the company which has propelled them to book in massive numbers.

The company started its reservations on 15th July, and within the first 24 hours of the opening, it has been reserved by 100,000 people. For now, the reservations can be made with Rs.499 only. According to the official website, a person can book multiple scooters under the same name.

The scooter will be manufactured at Krishnagiri, Tamilnadu. According to the company, it is going to be the largest two-wheeler manufacturing plant in the world. The 500-acre plant will have 100 acres reserved for plantation only. The plant will also have a 2-acre plantation inside the manufacturing facility.

Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal is grateful for the response

Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal couldn’t contain the joy and took to tweeter to share the news with the world. “India’s EV revolution is off to an explosive start. Huge thanks to the 100,000+ revolutionaries who’ve joined us and reserved their scooter,” he said, on tweeter.

The statement also read, “I am thrilled by the tremendous response from customers across India for our first electric vehicle. The unprecedented demand is a clear indicator of shifting consumer preferences to EVs. This is a huge step forward in our mission to transition the world to sustainable mobility. I thank all the consumers who have booked the Ola Scooter and have joined the EV revolution. This is only the beginning!”
