Leaks and rumors have already suggested that OnePlus will launch the OnePlus Nord 2 in India, and it will happen sometime in July. OnePlus also accidentally posted the OnePlus Nord 2 moniker on the official website for the US, confirming the existence. Now several other leaks have stormed up including box leaks revealing a key set of Nord 2 specifications.

As far as the rumours go, OnePlus Nord 2 will come to India as a rebranded Realme X9 Pro and, in turn, the upcoming Realme phone will be a rebranded Oppo Reno 6 Pro+. Does sound crazy, but the sister companies are known to rebrand devices and launch under different brands. OnePlus phones are no new to rebranding, several OnePlus phones previously have been taken from Oppo phones.

The three rear camera system will have a 50-megapixel primary sensor along with 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel secondary sensors. The original OnePlus Nord had quad rear cameras with a 48-megapixel primary sensor.
The OnePlus Nord successor will have a newly upgraded Sony IMX766 sensor, same as the OnePlus 9 Pro.
OnePlus Nord 2 is said to pack a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor inside a single punch-hole. OnePlus Nord 2 will be backed by a bigger 4,500mAh battery over the 4,115mAh unit from last year’s model, same as the newly launched OnePlus Nord CE 5G. The device will support Warp 30T Plus fast charging support. The model will have a new design, expected with a glass body and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
