BSNL VPN Services Launched For Rs 390: But Doesn’t Support 4G Services, Only Available For 3G

To avoid that trouble BSNL is offering Virtual Private Networks on its platform at a fixed monthly cost (FMC) of Rs.390 The main advantage of availing the services of the national service provider is its availability all across the length and breadth of the nation.

Recently BSNL published an advertisement regarding the service. In that, it has specifically mentioned that the service had been launched for the organizations and the companies which require Virtual Private Networks. The advertisement also highlighted that the service would be available on the 3G network only. In the era when the nation is preparing for the launch of the 5G network it kind of sounds bizarre to normal Indian ears. But there might be more technicalities involved in offering the service on 3G. For example, the 4G services offered by the company are already in a very pity state. So instead of offering the VPN based on an irregular/not-so-trustworthy platform, BSNL seems to have chosen to rely on a strong 3G base.
