OnePlus Pad launch could take place soon. It has been spotted on a certification site, and the upcoming OnePlus tablet is said to take on the likes of the latest iPad and Samsung Tab. The company has been expanding into a number of segments apart from smartphones. The company recently entered the wearables segment, it also has a range of Smart TVs apart from audio accessories and power banks.

The OnePlus Tab / Pad was spotted on the EQUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) certification website.

OnePlus also announced that it is merging its own OxygenOS with Oppo’s ColorOS, and the OnePlus 9T will be the first phone to run the merged UI. OxygenOS will continue to run on the OnePlus phones globally, but it will share its codebase with ColorOS.

OnePlus said the common codebase will standardise the software experience on phones of both the brands. ColorOS will be a part of the process for future OxygenOS updates, and vice versa. The flagship OnePlus series, including T and R models will now receive three guaranteed major Android updates and four years of security updates, the company confirmed.

Coming back to the upcoming OnePlus tablet, it could be launching soon. The OnePlus Pad launch is expected somewhere around next year, maybe will come with the OnePlus 10 series next year. The company unveiled the OnePlus Watch this year with the OnePlus 9 series, and we may see the OnePlus Pad launching with the OnePlus 10, OnePlus 10 Pro and the OnePlus 10R in 2022.

The company will foray into the tablets category with the first ever OnePlus tablet, the OnePlus Pad. The upcoming OnePlus tablet may either come with a Pro variant or a single model. OnePlus Pad price will stay around the entry-level premium category. OnePlus Pad price in India may start at somewhere around Rs 35,000 or so. The company is yet to officially confirm the development.
