COVID Vaccination Drive

Corporators have significantly increased their involvement in the COVID vaccination effort over the past month in order to vaccinate individuals at a faster rate, resulting in the creation of 118 new jab centres within the Pune civic limits.

There are currently 188 PMC-run COVID vaccination centres (CVCs) in operation.
70 of the CVCs are housed in PMC-owned hospitals and clinics, with the remaining CVCs being administered by local corporations.

For the time being, schools, community centres, and marriage halls have mostly been transformed to CVCs.

The PMC offers free vaccine doses based on availability, and the centres pass on the advantages to residents.
