Realme announced a number of products at the recent event including the GT 5G flagship. The latest Realme phone comes with Snapdragon 888 chip. Realme GT 5G has been unveiled in Europe and will soon come to India. The company also unveiled Realme Robot Vacuum with 2-in-1 vacuum and mopping functions that you can control directly from the Realme Link app. The much-awaited Realme Book did not launch today, and Realme only previewed a prototype.Â
The company has come up with a programme where it wants everybody to contribute to help Realme build the laptop.
The Realme GT 5G India launch may happen in July, and the device will directly take on Mi 11, Samsung Galaxy S21 and OnePlus 9. Realme launched the GT 5G, previewed the upcoming Realme laptop and Realme tablet, and unveiled the robotic vacuum cleaner.
Realme GT 5G Launched, India Launch When?
Realme GT 5G comes with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Realme phone is powered by Snapdragon 888 with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. In terms of optics, Realme GT 5G sports a triple rear camera system featuring a 64-megapixel Sony sensor, an 8-megapixel and a 2-megapixel sensor.
The GT in Realme GT stands for grand tourers inspiring a glass-covered design with 3D lights. Upfront, Realme GT 5G has a 16-megapixel camera inside the punch-hole. The Realme phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, Dolby Atmos Dual Stereo speakers and Hi-Res Audio.
The device is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support and no wireless charging. The Realme GT 5G comes in Dashing Blue and Dashing Silver colours. Realme GT 5G price for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs EUR 599. The 8GB RAM model with 128GB storage will be available for EUR 449 (around Rs 39,900).
Realme Book, Realme Pad: Realme Laptop India Launch?
The much-anticipated Realme Book did not launch at the event. The Realme Pad launch did not happen either. However, the company previewed the prototype of the upcoming Realme laptop, the Realme Book and announced a Realme Laptop Co-creation Programme. Here Realme will take suggestions and requests from all the fans on how the Realme Book actually should be.
It will develop Realme Book based on what fans want and don’t want. The upcoming Realme laptop, the Realme Book is supposed to be a highly customised model given how Realme is approaching to make one.
Realme Laptop Co-creation Programme is now live, and you can submit your ideas about the Realme Book on the company website. The Realme Book will have a 3:2 aspect ratio. Realme Pad didn’t launch at the event, and is now expect to launch in the next quarter.
Realme Robot Vacuum: Specs, Price In India
The new Realme vacuum cleaning robot uses a LiDAR sensor for smart mapping of the area it is cleaning with a total of 38 sensors. Realme Robot Vacuum is priced at EUR 299 (around Rs 27,000). The Realme Robot Vacuum will take on Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P which costs Rs 24,999 in the country. It offers customised cleaning with an intelligent surface adaptation feature that detects obstacles with a 600ml dusting box inside and an electronic water tank for wet cleaning.
There’s an auto-recharge feature, so the Realme Robot Vacuum will directly go back to the charging station. It has a 5,200mAh battery and supports Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for voice control.
