A Positive Vibe For Travelling

With this positive wine, the states, and neighboring countries are finally opening their doors for travelers

If we talk about our capital, it has allowed several activities to restart, such as offices, Delhi Metro, markets, and malls.

This would definitely dwindle the economic condition of the states that receive a leg-up. 

For such a long time people are cramped up in their homes for the fear of getting infected.

But finally looks like that there is some hope for those who are looking to spread their wings.

Planning For Domestic Travel

Himachal Pradesh

The restrictions in Himachal Pradesh have relaxed marginally as it remains under stringent COVID-related rules and regulations.

From June 14 onwards, the Himachal cabinet decided to allow shops in the state to remain open from 9 am to 5 pm. 

Although they will remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays and the 5 pm-5 am Covid curfew will also remain in place.

Uttarakhand

The state is under lockdown till June 15 and only small shops and markets are open from 10 am to 5 pm. 

So far, the government has not yet allowed the hotels, restaurants, and resorts to reopen. 

Although other state tourists are allowed, but they will have to show their RT-PCR negative reports. 

The residents from Garhwal to Kumaun and Kumaun to Garhwal can move around without the Covid-19 negative report.

Goa

the Goa government decided to extend the statewide curfew till 7 am on June 21 On Saturday.

According to the Goa Chief Minister tweet, “Shops, including in panchayat and municipal markets, may open between 7 am to 3 pm. Marriage function with up to 50 persons has been permitted. A detailed order will be issued by District Collectors,”.

What About International Travel?

For people who are planning to travel abroad, good news for them as Indigo Airlines made major announcements for travel lovers who are planning to spend holidays in Beijing, Moscow, Cairo, Nairobi, Jakarta, Manila, and other eastern European countries. 

Now, Indigo Airlines is planning overseas flights of up to seven hours duration from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata, some of them with its longer-range Airbus A321s. 

As soon as these countries lift the Covid-related restrictions, regular international flights should resume operations.

Other Travel Destinations

If you want to travel to Turkey then it is now open for travelers from India.

But, keep in mind that a 14-day institutional quarantine is mandatory for those arriving into the country.

Russia is one of the few countries that is still open to people from India.

The traveler needs to provide an RT-PCR test, dated no less than three days prior to arrival and also have to undergo a test on arrival.

In the case of South Africa, they have not imposed any COVID travel restriction on people from India but are expected to produce an RT-PCR test no older than 72 hours.

Egypt is one of the popular destinations which is now open to travelers from India and on arrival, travelers will have to take a rapid DNA test.
