Kia Launches First Ever Return Scheme; Find Out How It Works

This is the first time such a scheme has been introduced in the automotive industry. The name of the scheme by Kia is  ‘Satisfaction Guarantee Scheme’, wherein if you have bought Kia’s Carnival luxury MPV, you can return the car.

However, this offer will be limited to 30 days of purchase.

The company has confirmed that customers of the car will be eligible to get 95% of the ex-showroom cost of Carnival, along with the overhead cost incurred for the registration, finances, and more on the vehicle.

The Carnival was launched soon after the launch of Kia’s Seltos SUV and was offered in three exuberant trims – Premium, Prestige, and Limousine and three variants, 7-seat, 8-seat, and 9-seat configurations.

Carnival is powered by a 2.2-liter diesel engine. The price of the car starts at Rs. 24.95 lakh (ex-showroom).

Rules For Returning Kia Carnival MPV

However, there are some rules for buyers to avail of this offer. The first one is that the car must not have been driven for more than 1500 kilometers in this period. Also, it should be entirely free from damages, failures, and any pending claims.

Also, the car that is needed to be returned should be registered in the name of the person who wishes to return it. All the documentation and charges are included in this. Also, a NOC from the financier will also be required to be submitted.

Tae-Jin Park, Executive Director and CSBO at Kia India said, “Last month, we introduced our new brand purpose of inspiring consumers through products and services, and their experiences with the brand. The ‘Satisfaction Guarantee Scheme’ is the first step to bring this purpose to life and is designed to offer a differentiated Kia ownership experience to our customers.”

Apparently, through the scheme, Kia wants to show that the Carnival has been well received here and has also established its faith in the car.
