Mi A4 Leaks Reappear, Launch When? Mi CC10 Coming, To Run On Snapdragon 870

Mi A4 launch may happen? The renders have again re-appeared, and there are chances the device may launch. While the Mi A series has reportedly been cancelled, but now with Mi CC10 leaks again coming up, chances of Mi A4 as a rebranded phone could also be a possibility. It will succeed the Xiaomi Mi CC9 series in China from 2019, which came to India as Mi A3. Mi CC9 in India was unveiled as a remodelled Mi A3, and so Mi A4 as a remodelled Mi CC10 for India could be a probability as well.

Mi A4 Leaks Reappear, Launch When? Mi CC10 Coming, To Run On Snapdragon 870

According to a Weibo tipster Bald Panda, the upcoming Mi handset will come with the latest Snapdragon 870 processor.

So, Mi CC10 will not be a mid-range device, but a mid-budget flagship. A report from ITHome suggests that Mi CC10 will be backed by a 4,360mAh battery, which probably will support 33W fast charging.

Coming to Mi A4, if it launches, the device will run on the latest version of Android and not MIUI. Being an Android One device, it’s expected to run on the upcoming Android 11 offering stock experience.

Mi A4 launch in India cannot be confirmed given the series has already been put under the hood, but now with Mi CC10 renders again re-appearing, we can hope for something, but again without any guarantee.

The Mi CC10 leaks are also not from any reputed sources, so it’s very unlikely at this moment. If there are even any thin chances, Mi A4 launch cannot be expected before the later half of 2021. The company will upgrade with the Mi A3 successor later in 2020. Mi A4 launch in India will happen after the device launches in China, and whether Xiaomi will plan to take forward the Mi A series.

The Mi A phones have been a successful series from Xiaomi in India. If the device comes with Snapdragon 870, expect the Mi A4 price in the higher segment, the sub-25,000 category. The Mi A device will have much better features compared to the predecessor, and the Mi A4 price in India is expected to start at around Rs 24,999, again purely based on how Xiaomi plans to bring Mi CC10 to the country, or not at all.
