Google Pixel 6 has been trending since the news of Google’s own chip powering the device came out. The upcoming Google Pixel 6 launch will happen in October 2021. Pixel 6 price will be in line with the predecessor, expected to start at $699 (around Rs 51,500). Pixel 6 will run on Google’s Whitechapel custom chipset, an XDA report reaffirms. Pixel 6 has already been leaked a few times to come with an in-house Google chip. The upcoming Google flagship will be running on the in-house Google-made chipset codenamed, Whitechapel.

Poco M3 Pro India launch is expected to happen in June. The launch date for the upcoming Poco smartphone global is out. Poco Global confirmed Poco M3 Pro launch date for global markets, all set to be unveiled on May 19. Poco M3 Pro 5G, is going to be the first 5G phone from the brand. Xiaomi didn’t unveil the 5G model of Redmi Note 10 in the country unlike China, but could be bringing the device soon, probably by early June as a rebranded Poco M3 Pro 5G in India.

Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro

Popular tipster Jon Prosser leaked the Pixel 6 series first look on YouTube revealing the complete design of the upcoming Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro / Pixel 6 XL. Google Pixel 6 release date is not out yet, but the internet giant is going to follow the same launch period for Pixel 6. The upcoming Google Pixel 6 launch will happen in October 2021. Pixel 6 price will be in line with the predecessor, expected to start at $699 (around Rs 51,500). Pixel 6 will run on Google’s Whitechapel custom chipset, an XDA report reaffirms. Pixel 6 has already been leaked a few times to come with an in-house Google chip.

The upcoming Google flagship will be running on the in-house Google-made chipset codenamed, Whitechapel. The latest report by XDA Developers again confirms the same with a screenshot of ‘Whitechapel’ text mentioned in a code change submitted to AOSP in the URL. At the same time Pixel 5a launch is expected by June, and it will feature the Snapdragon 765G SoC.

Realme 8 Pro 5G

Unnamed Realme phone with Snapdragon 750G has been spotted, expected to be Realme 8 Pro 5G. The company will launch Realme 8 5G smartphone in the country later this week, but as per the incoming reports, the company may also unveil the 5G model of the Pro version as well. The TENAA certification with model number RMX3161 confirms the existence. The RMX3161 model has also been spotted on Geekbench platform. The key specifications have been leaked out along with the processor and RAM information.

Realme RMX3161 model will be run on Qualcomm’s mid-range 5G chip, the Snapdragon 750G processor. It is listed to run at a base frequency of 1.80GHz and will pack in eight cores. The source code revealed the chip will pair with Adreno 619 GPU. The expected Realme 8 Pro 5G scored 657 in single-core test and 1940 in multi-core test.

Poco M3 Pro 5G 

Redmi Note 10 5G will launch as a rebranded Poco M3 Pro 5G like global markets with a fresh design. The specs will remain the same in the country. The device will come with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ IPS display with 1100 nits brightness offering 90Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G SoC paired with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. The storage can be further expanded via a microSD card. In terms of cameras, Poco M3 Pro 5G will have a triple rear camera system back with a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens.

Upfront, the upcoming Poco phone will have a 8MP snapper. The device will come equipped with Hi-Res audio and 5G connectivity and a Type-C port. Poco M3 Pro 5G will run on Android 11-based MIUI 12 with Poco custom skin on top. The device will be backed by a sizable 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. In India, all the Redmi Note 10 phones come with 33W fast chargers. So Poco M3 Pro 5G will come with the same 33W charger. The predecessor came with the same charging brick.

Redmi 10 Series: Redmi 10, Redmi 10A, Redmi 10 Pro

Redmi 10 series will soon be launching in the country, all set to succeed Redmi 9 series from last year. Xiaomi unveiled 5 phones under the Redmi 9 series in 2020, which included Redmi 9, Redmi 9A, Redmi 9i and Redmi 9 Prime. So, Redmi 10 series is expected to include four to five phones as well. Redmi 10 series will be heavily inspired by the Redmi Note 10 line with a set of budget specs. Redmi 10-series phones will ship with Android 11-based MIUI and Full HD+ display.

As per the reports, the EVOL design language launched with Redmi Note 10 series could also be used on the upcoming Redmi 10 series lineup. Redmi 10 price in India is expected to start at around Rs 10,000 for the whole series.

Poco Gaming Phone

Poco F3 India launch will happen finally, but not as the rebranded Redmi K40 models, but the latest Gaming phone by Redmi, the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition. Xiaomi already launched Mi 11X series in the country, both are rebranded Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro+, so the Poco F3 India launch will take place in the form of Poco F3 GT, a rebranded Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition. Tipster Kacper Skrzypek (@kacskrz) on Twitter posted the code for the MIUI 12 which revealed model number M2104K0I will come to the country as Poco F3 GT. Poco F3 GT will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display offering a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

In terms of optics, Poco F3 GT will have a triple-camera setup at the back powered by a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. Upfront, the device will feature a 16MP unit. Poco F3 GT will be backed by a 5,056mAh battery, 67W charging speed and 5G connectivity. Poco F3 GT price in India may start at around Rs 30,000 or somewhere close to it.

OnePlus Nord 2

OnePlus Nord 2 launch is on cards, may happen by May. Some major OnePlus Nord 2 details are out, and for the first time, a OnePlus smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek chipset. OnePlus Nord 2 launch will happen in Q2 2021 and it will be powered by MediaTek’s top flagship, the Dimensity 1200 5G chipset. It’s the first time a OnePlus phone will come without a Qualcomm chipset. OnePlus Nord continues to be a best-seller in it’s category. The upcoming OnePlus phone will run on MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset.

It will pair with upto 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, improved cameras, display and battery. OnePlus Nord 2 will probably feature a 64MP main camera inside a quad camera system. The Dimensity 1200 chipset is built on a 6nm node and features Cortex A78 and A55 cores. OnePlus Nord 2 will have a faster Fluid AMOLED display with a refresh of 120Hz instead of the 90Hz on the original Nord.
