Recently, Xiaomi has come up with the MIUI 12.5 Stable version, but the update has not even been pushed to all eligible models yet. 

MIUI 13 Release Date

Although, the tech firm has already scheduled the second round of OTA push for June. 

In a further revelation, the company mentioned that the MIUI 12.5 is akin to a major OTA upgrade when Mi fans are already looking forward to MIUI 13

There is a new rumor about the Xiaomi MIUI 13 release date that has started making the rounds.

These rumors point to a domestic China release first before the Android overlay is rolled out around the world. 

With all this hype, the Chinese tech giant is expected to roll out the MIUI 13 update very soon.

As there are many speculations in the market buzzing with reports that the next-gen MIUI 13 custom ROM is scheduled for release in the second quarter of this year.

They also suggested a specific release date, which was given as Friday, June 25, 2021.

MIUI Updates For Other Models

Further, the source revealed that Xiaomi won’t be providing MIUI 13 updates for some fairly old models namely the 2019 Mi 9 series, Mi MIX 3, Redmi Note 8 series, and Redmi 8 series as per the information provided by MyDrivers.

There is also a speculative list of 80 Xiaomi, Redmi, Poco, and Black Shark smartphones that could be eligible for this update according to the speculations..

So far, the MIUI 12.5 update has been applied to the Mi 9 SE (among the first batch of models to get the update). 

In the near future, the Mi MIX 2S and Mi 8 series will also be upgraded to MIUI 12.5. 

Although, the company doesn’t plan to apply official MIUI 13 ROM to these models.

Currently, the source didn’t reveal any information on what kind of features the MIUI 13 custom ROM will bring to the table.

 However, the lock screen, main interface, Negative One-screen, animation effects, fluency, privacy, and security, as well as the battery life are expected to see some significant enhancements.

So far, there is no official word from Xiaomi regarding the MIUI 13 release schedule.
