These 5 Two-Wheelers, Super Bikes Launching In April To Disrupt The Market: USPs, Price, Features

Motorheads have an exciting lineup of 5 superbikes to look forward to, all of which will be hitting the Indian roads in April. 

Aprilia SXR 125

The Piaggio maxi scooter shares features with the SXR 160 maxi scooter thar launched last year, the key difference being the 124.45 cc single-cylinder three-value motor producing 9.4 bhp at 7600 rpm and 9.2Nm torque

Features include LED taillights and wrap-around twin pod headlights, digital instrument cluster, adjustable rear suspension, front disc brake with CBS and Bluetooth connectivity which is optional. 

Bookings can be reserved in Piaggio showrooms and Amazon with a Rs 5000 token amount. 

Price is rumored to be Rs 1.15 lakh

2021 TVS Apache RR 310

The TVS flagship model was supposed to be launched on Apr 7 but the in-person launch event has been delayed given the pandemic. 

It could however be launched at April-end. 

It is rumored to be priced at Rs 2.50 lakh and the token booking amount is Rs 7000.

The bike runs on a 312.3 cc single-cylinder engine producing 33.5 bhp power at 7,700 rpm and 27 Nm peak torque,

2021 Suzuki Hayabusa

It has been listed on the Suzuki Motorcycles India website and has been teased across social media, which means that launch is imminent. 

It is set to be priced at Rs 15 lakh.

It is propelled by a 1340 cc, inline-four engine producing 188 bhp of maximum power and150 Nm of torque.

Key features include 6-axis IMU system, ride by wire throttle, 5 riding modes, 3 power modes, anti-wheelie control; launch+cruise+3 levels of engine brake controls, new LED headlamp and a new TFT display between analog dials. 

New-gen KTM RC 390

The KTM flagship has been spied on roads as it was being tested and a few features have jumped out to keen spectators instantly. 

The styling has seen a prominent change with a bulkier front fascia which has a mounted LED headlamp (replacing the current dual projector headlamps) that is flanked by LED turn indicators. The fairing and fuel tank has also seen changes.

The model also offers relaxed ergonomics if the stance of the tester on the bike is anything to go by. 

The engine is expected to remain the same with a 373 cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with power output of 43 hp and 37 Nm torque.

It is to be priced at a higher range than the current version which costs Rs 2.61 lakh.

Ducati Diavel & XDiavel

Both will be powered by a Testastretta 1262 engine with DVT (Desmodromic Variable Timing). 

The Diavel has a power output of 162 hp and 129 Nm of peak torque.

The XDiavel has a power output of 160 hp and 127 Nm of peak torque.

Both will be available in showrooms by month end.

The Indian launch will be sold in 3 trims-  Dark, S and Blck Star.

Rs 19 lakh and Rs 18 lakh are expected to be the price tags for the XDiavel and Diavel respectively.
