Public Appeal To Follow Strict Norm

Appealing citizens to follow rules in the light of spreading of virus, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope has advocated wearing face mask as well as following social distancing. However it has seen in the past that some citizens have flouted the norm and this time the government officials are deciding to take stern measures against these citizens.

The local which was dysfunctional due to the imposed lockdown, was started again nearly after a gap of 300 days. However as against the pre lockdown schedule, the general public was ferried by the local in three time slots:-

  • From time of start of services till 7 am
  • 12 noon to 4pm
  • 9 pm to closure of services

Although the disease has been contained to some extent, but its highly contagious nature makes it particularly risky and it is the same reason why the use of face masks, sanitizers and social distancing has been mandated by the state as best bet to safeguard the citizens.
