Another Lockdown In Mumbai?

Meanwhile, as total cases touched 25 lakh in Maharashtra, and new cases in Mumbai and Pune, along with Nagpur, Nasik and other big cities have touched a new high, talks are on for yet another lockdown in the state.

State Health Minister Rajesh Tope said, “If the number of daily cases in the state remains in the range of 25,000 to 30,000 for the next some days, the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maharashtra government may impose lockdown-like restrictions in some cities, including Mumbai”

Mumbai city is getting around 3000 new cases daily, while the state is reporting more than 24,000 cases on a daily basis.
