Android 11 Update Starts For Redmi Note 8, Mi 10T Lite; These Xiaomi Phones Now Android 11 Ready

Android 11 comes to MIUI-run devices.

Xiaomi dispatched the Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro which are the world’s first 108MP cell phones. These handsets appeared with MIUI 11 hinging on Android 9.0 Pie. They were then switched to Android 10 and MIUI 12. Presently, these  two models will be receiving the Android 11 update.

Models in India

Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro were sold as Mi CC9 Pro and Mi CC9 Pro Premium Edition in India. They both run the MIUI build since their hardware is comparable save for the lens used on the pricier model (Note Pro and Premium Edition).

International Variants

The Chinese variants got the Android 11 update in the beginning of January. It was expected that the international variant should get the update a few weeks later. But that didn’t occur as it is being seeded just now.

The Android 11 update for the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro are at present just accessible for the EEA variation. It has build number V12.1.3.0.RFDEUXM and comes with the February 2020 security fix.

This build is in the ‘Stable Beta’ stage and hence it is at hand for only a set number of end users. A global rollout will happen for all users , including Russia, and Indonesia in the near future.

Given Xiaomi’s dodgy update history, the Mi Note 10, Mi Note 10 Pro, Mi CC9 Pro, and Mi CC9 Pro will at this point not get any Android update. Still, they will get at any rate one more MIUI update.
