Vivo iQOO Neo 5 Leaked, Images Out: These Four Vivo Phones Are Coming To India

Vivo iQOO Neo 5 has been leaked on Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo. The upcoming iQOO smartphone has been tipped to arrive next month with the latest Snapdragon 870 chipset. Leaked in a live image, the phone is seen running on the latest upgraded OS by Vivo, Origin OS. The device will come with the new OS based on Android 11, with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The iQOO Neo 5 leaked image also revealed the selfie camera. The device will feature a camera upfront on the front inside a water drop notch.

The image also revealed iQOO Neo 5 will have “8+3GB RAM”. As per some sources, Vivo is working onto develop a new hardware amalgamation called “fusion technology”. It will help iQOO Neo 5 to dump some of the RAM-allocated memory to the storage chip and manage space better.

The new technology will help the device freeing up space when needed without losing the state of the apps running in the background. The other leaked specs include a 4,400 mAh battery, 88W wired charging support and 66W wireless charging. The phone is said to start at CNY 2,999 (around Rs 33,540).

Upcoming Vivo Smartphones In India: Vivo X50 Pro+, Vivo X60 Series

Vivo X50 Pro+ is tipped to launch alongside Vivo X60 series in India. Rumoured to happen by March-end or April, the handsets will be unveiled at the event. Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro were launched in India in July last year, but the company didn’t bring in Vivo X50 Pro+ at the time. The latest leak suggests Vivo X50 Pro+ will launch alongside the newer generation Vivo X60 series in India.

Vivo unveiled X60 and X60 Pro in early January and the X60 Pro+ in late January. Vivo X60 price in India could start at under Rs 35,000 in the country, or around the same bracket.

Vivo X60 Pro+ is powered by the newly launched top Qualcomm flagship chip Snapdragon 888 SoC. The device features a quad rear camera setup and is available in two RAM and storage configurations. The company is yet to confirm Vivo X60 Pro+ global availability details.

Vivo X60 features a 120Hz AMOLED screen and a triple camera, while the Vivo X60 Pro has a fourth lens, a periscope camera, and X60 Pro+ sports the new 50MP ISOCELL GN1 sensor and a 5x periscope zoom camera.

Both the Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro run on 5nm Exynos 1080 chipset, while the flagship Vivo X60 Pro+ is powered by 5nm Snapdragon 888 chipset.

Vivo X60 Pro+ comes with upto upto 12GB RAM, 256GB storage and 55W fast charging support. The cameras on X60 Pro+ include a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor (which also doubles as macro shooter), a 32-megapixel portrait shooter and finally an 8-megapixel periscope lens.
