What Posts Are Open For Recruitment?
As reported, around 561 posts of trade apprentice are open for recruitment. This recruitment will be done by the West Central Railways. The application form for the same has already been released.
However, the candidates should check the criterion before applying. The Deadline to fill the application form is 27 February 2021. They have also given time to make corrections in applications between February 27, 2021, to March 2, 2021.
What qualification is needed?
The minimum qualification criterion is that the applicant should have passed at least 10 standards. Along with this, it is also necessary to hold a relevant ITI certification related to the applicable trade.
Besides, the candidate must be aged between 15 years and 24 years. Any candidate who does not fit in this age bracket will not be allowed. However, some rules suggest that the age criterion is flexible for the applicants who belong to the reserved category.
What Is The Application Process?
All the candidates who fit in the given criterion can fill the application form given here. To fill the form, the candidate has to do 5 steps.
Step 1: Create Account
Step 2: Create username and password
Step 3: Click on The “Profile section” and fill in your personal details
Step 4: To pay the fees, click on “Running Application form”
Step 5: To check the status of the payment or print the receipt go to “My filled application/ Receipt”.
What Are The Requirements?
All the applied candidates will have to submit some scanned documents while filling the application form. This includes a 10th-grade passing certificate, ITI certificate, passport size photo, and a scanned copy of your signature.
The fees that need to be paid in the 4th step of filling application form are different for different categories. For instance, general and OBC candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 170. On the other hand, candidates belonging to SC or ST categories, candidates with physical disabilities as well as women candidates are bound to pay only Rs 70.
What Is The Selection process?
Along with the low qualification criterion, there is no written examination or any interview involved in the recruitment process. The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks secured in 10th grade and ITI.
