In the new year, car makers have lined up multiple hatchbacks to be launched in the Indian automobile market. 

Let’s have a look at the top three hatchbacks that will be launched in 2021, which will be priced at Rs 12 lakh or less!

Maruti Suzuki Celerio

Launch Date: February 2021
Expected Price: Rs 4.5 to 6.5 lakh

The second generation of Maruti Suzuki Celerio is all set to enter the market in early 2021. This new version will replace the current car. Reports are that the car will come with a totally different design and it will be more in sync with the current design philosophy of the current Maruti Suzuki.

The internal features of the car are also expected to be modified. The cabin layout will be different and is expected to come with the latest SmartPlay Studio infotainment system with a large touchscreen. The car is expected to be fitted with two petrol engine options – a 68hp, 1.0- liter, three-cylinder engine, and an 83hp, 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine.

This car will be based on the ‘Heartect’ platform that also is implemented on the Wagon R, Swift, Baleno, Ignis, Dzire, Ertiga, and XL6.

New Maruti Suzuki Baleno

Launch Date: Late 2021
Expected Price: Rs 6 to 9.5 lakh

The new Maruti Suzuki Baleno is a fixture in the list of highest-selling cars in the country. This car will be launched on the road in a new version. The new car is expected to come with a more premium feel, both inside and out. This car will also be made in India for global markets as well.

Hyundai i20 N Line

Launch Date: Mid 2021
Expected Price: Rs 11 to 12 lakh

Hyundai will be launching the first every N brand in India; the brand that is known for its performance. The new generation i20 N Line will also come with multiple new styling features, such as a new bumper, a black grille with a ‘chequered flag’ pattern and a prominent N Line badge, a new rear bumper, triangular fog-light housings, a chrome double-barrel exhaust and 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The inside of the car will come with N badging and red stitching throughout, sport front seats, a bespoke steering wheel, and metal pedals.
