Poco F2 launch? Mi 11 Lite India launch tipped after the device received BIS certification. Some reports suggest that Mi 11 Lite could come to India as a rebranded Poco F2. The device was earlier spotted on FCC certification site. The leaked specifications will include a 4,150mAh battery with 33W fast charging, 6GB RAM and 64GB / 128GB storage options.
Mi 11 Lite is going to be a toned-down variant of the recently-launched affordable Xiaomi flagship, Mi 11.
The smartphone will succeed the entry-level premium flagship Mi 10 Lite.
The FCC certification revealed the Mi 11 Lite model number along with specifications. Mi 11 Lite price has been tipped by a Vietnamese YouTuber, it’s said to be between VND 75,00,000 to 80,00,000 (about Rs 23,000 to 25,000). Mi 11 Lite is also said to be launching in Vietnam first.
But recently Anuj Sharma, Country Director, POCO India has reportedly told tipster Mukul Sharma in an interview that the upcoming POCO F2 will not come with the rumoured Snapdragon 732G.
Poco F2 Earlier Officially Teased, Poco F2 India Launch In Feb?Â
Poco F2 teased officially. Recently the company released a teaser wishing users Happy New Year and thanking India for everything since 2018 and in the video hinted about Poco F2 launch in India. The clip said, ‘The stage is set! The fun has begun! Let us get ready to take it to the next level’ directly giving out the Poco F2 launch hint.
In the video, Poco mentioned that it is all set to make 2021 bigger, and the company will start off the year with the much-awaited smartphone since last two years, Poco F2.
Poco was smart enough to mention Poco F2 a few times in the video.
According to the rumour mill, Poco F2 will be a mid-range smartphone. It’s in development, and is codenamed “courbet”. The smartphone, is said to be powered by Snapdragon 732G SoC, a quad rear camera setup and 33W fast charging. Poco F2 is further reported to pack a 4,250mAh battery with support for reverse charging and NFC.
Previously the company officials confirmed Poco F2 Pro is not coming to India. So, a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro is not on cards, it’s confirmed. The company is working on Poco F2, the spiritual successor to the popular Poco F1. Poco F2 Pro India launch won’t happen, POCO Country Director Anuj Sharma confirmed.
Poco F2 Specs Leaked So Far: Poco F2 Price In India?
Anuj Sharma, the Poco Country Head clarified in the interview that Poco F2 will not use Snapdragon 732G, the mid-range chipset already powering POCO X3. POCO F1 in 2018 used the then Qualcomm flagship Snapdragon 845 SoC. Poco F2 may come with Snapdragon 865, Snapdragon 865 Plus or the latest Snapdragon 888 SoC.
Poco F2 leaked specs include a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 4,250mAh battery and a quad-camera system. Poco F2 launch date is yet to be revealed, expected in a few weeks from now.
In addition to the Poco F2, the company is said to be working on Poco Pop Budz truly wireless earphones. Also, Poco M3 Pro is in the final stages of development, soon the device will release in India. Coming to Poco F2 price in India, the device will probably launch in the Rs 25,000 bracket or lower.
