The updates released include a number of network and system fixes.

OnePlus has some full-screen gestures. It has made the on-screen fingerprint scanner a little faster.

There’s also a new option to adjust the keyboard height. The company also fixed some issues with the preinstalled Gallery app which at the same time will substantially improve nightscape photography. OxygenOS 11 also fixes the issue with Wi-Fi connections dropping.

Users facing network stability issues will finally have some help.

There’s also an India-exclusive feature, you can access OnePlus Store directly. The company has added a one-stop-shop for accessing your Red Cable club membership, so that you can directly purchase OnePlus products.

If you don’t want it, you can uninstall it. So there’s nothing as such that you have to keep it if you don’t want it. OxygenOS will soon be released, but the process will be as usual. The company will first roll out the latest OS to a handful of users then the full OS will be available via OTA for all users. The OxygenOS rollout currently is available for North America and India users.

OnePlus Band Launch In January: Report

OnePlus will be stepping big into the wearables segment in 2021. Apart from the OnePlus Watch, the company will foray into the smart band category as well along with the first smartwatch. The OnePlus Band is said to be in the final stages of development, and it will directly compete with the budget Mi Bands and similar wearables.

OnePlus is all set to launch it’s first-ever smart band, confirmed by Android Central. As per the report, the company is planning to launch the OnePlus Band sometime in Q1 2021.

It’s going to be a fitness tracker with an OLED display on top. The report also states that OnePlus Band will come at an affordable price. OnePlus Band price is expected to stay around $40 (around Rs 2,900). In India, OnePlus Band price may start at Rs 2,999 or even lower.

OnePlus Band will pack an OLED display, offer water resistance along with multi-day battery life and support all tracking basic fitness stats. The OnePlus fitness tracker is said to be announced by OnePlus first in India and then it will launch in other regions. OnePlus Band launch is now tipped for January. The smart band will be available via Amazon and OnePlus Store.
