After trolling Apple for not providing chargers with their iPhone 12, Xiaomi has now done the same.

Mi 11 Won’t Have Any Charger: Confirmed

Yesterday, a leak emerged on social media, wherein the retail box of the new Mi 11 smartphone was revealed.

The tipster compared the box with iPhone 12, and the width was same.

This led to speculations that Mi 11 might not have any charger, just like iPhone 12.

This has now been confirmed by the company, and Mi 11 will indeed won’t have any charger.

What Is The Reason?

Just like Apple, Xiaomi too has blamed the pollution for this step.

As per the company, by not giving chargers to the new Mi 11 smartphone users, they will be able to protect the environment and reduce e-waste.

Note here, that when Apple did the same, and stopped giving chargers in the retail box of iPhone 12, which was then extended to iPhone 11 and XR as well.

Although the company has told that they will hold a press conference, and explain the reason why there won’t be any chargers in the new Mi 11 smartphones, users are disappointed.

It seems that the smartphone users need to accept the fact that shipping new smartphones without chargers is going to become a norm now, as Samsung too will ditch chargers for their next Galaxy lineup.
