On Thursday, Ernst and Young Global Limited declared that it is going to mass hire 9000 employees in the year. EY is a global leader in assurance, consulting, strategy and transactions, and tax services.

Currently, 36 % employees in this global professional services organisation have a STEM background and are totally dedicated towards developing science and technology. The organisation made a statement saying, “These will be in various technology roles across all member firms including the global delivery centres, to expand its digital capabilities and help organisations solve their “complex end-to-end business transformation challenges”

The recent acquisition of Spotmentor Technologies, an AI-enabled upskilling and reskilling platform, shows that EY has already marched towards manifesting its vision.
It also provides several proprietary digital tools and solutions such as EY Asterisk (supply chain planning solutions), and EY Symphony (integrated governance, risk, controls, and compliance platform).
