Wipro has extended the work from home model for its employees till April 4, 2021, which was previously implemented to March 2021.
The COVID-19 pandemic is showing no signs of slowing down and working remotely is probably the wise option to go for so that it doesn’t spread any further.

Wipro Extends Work From Home Till April 4, 2021
The COVID-19 disease resulted in a lockdown imposed throughout the world and India was one of the countries to impose a lockdown too. All the major IT companies had to resort to implementing the working from home model for their employees.
Previously, there was news about TCS, Infosys, and Wipro, continuing the work from home model at least till March 2021.
And now, Wipro has announced that they will be extending the work from home policy till April 4, 2021.
Wipro said that this extension is being done keeping in mind the safety and well being of its employees. As per Wipro, “Nearly 98% of our employees are working from home.”
Safety And Well Being Of Safety Is Top Priority: Wipro CEO
Wipro’s President & Chief Human Resources Officer, Wipro Ltd., Saurabh Govil had previously said that despite such a majority of employees working from home, the company has observed that they would prefer their employees to come and work from their workplaces, but their first priority would be the safety of their employees.
He said, “We have implemented multiple safeguards for employees who are required to work from office such as zoning protocols, distant seating, isolation rooms, sanitization etc but we are enabling employees to WFH as much as possible. We must understand that we are yet to see the new normal.”
Additionally, India’s major IT service providers like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys and Wipro are continuing WFH up to 99 percent of their employees.
