Apple has put a hold on Wistron, company’s contract manufacturer at Bengaluru. The Taiwanese manufacturer wes found to be lapsing payments to employees with reported 12-hour work shifts. But the Foxconn unit is running fine, so ‘Made in India’ iPhone 12 will hit stores in 2 months. Apple is manufacturing iPhone 12 in India alongside iPhone 12 Mini.
iPhone 12 is being assembled at the Chennai factory under another Taiwanese contract manufacturer Foxconn.
Last week, Apple confirmed that Wistron will not receive any business before corrective actions are taken. Wistron Corp have been put on probation after the recent outage. Currently Foxconn assembles iPhone XR and iPhone 11 in India, two of the best-selling iPhones.
The Made in India iPhone 12 Mini will be delayed. It was being produced at the Wistron facility in Karnataka, and the production has been put on hold for now. Workers at the Wistron manufacturing unit at Narasapura Industrial Area in Kolar district ransacked the office as they were not being paid.

Starting with the entry-level iPhone 12 devices. The iPhone 12 budget line-up has two devices. The iPhone 12 Mini comes with a 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display. Coming to optics, iPhone 12 Mini comes with a dual camera set-up. iPhone 12 Mini cameras include a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens. Similarly, iPhone 12 camera has a dual lens setup. It also comes with a similar dual-camera set-up as the iPhone 12 Mini.

Both the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini are available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB models. The iPhone 12 / iPhone 12 Mini colour options include: Blue, Green, Black, White and Red.
