Both Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro are said to come with the newly launched Snapdragon 888 and AMOLED screen.

Redmi K40 live images reveal a new camera design inside a multi-camera system. Redmi K30 came with a quad camera setup inside a circular ring themed design. On Redmi K40, the cameras are going back on the top left corner with a square shaped module, much like the Mi 10T.

Redmi K40 is said to feature Snapdragon 888 as per the rumour mill, and more details will be out once the Mi 11 arrives at the end of December. Redmi K40 series will take some inspiration from the upcoming Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro as well. Redmi K40 will feature a stadium-shaped camera module at the back which appears to include five cameras with a flash.

Here’s the list of the top upcoming Xiaomi phones in 2021. The list includes both upcoming Poco phones in 2021 and upcoming Redmi phones in 2021.

Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro

Mi 11 series is now expected to come in January, tipped on Weibo. The devices are said to come with a 108MP main camera and a curved display, as leaked recently. The display will come with a punch-hole on the top left corner, previously leaked by popular Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station on microblogging website Weibo. Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro will be powered by the top Qualcomm chip, the Snapdragon 888 5G. 

Coming to optics, the Mi 11 cameras are expected to get powerful lenses. Mi 11 Pro is expected to feature a main camera sensor which could range from 108-megapixel to 192-megapixels. 

Mi 11 is speculated to use an ultra-wide-angle 48MP main camera with upgraded optical image stabilization features and a tiny 0.8 m pixel size, first of its kind. Last time, Mi 10 came with a 13MP sensor. It will be among the few significant upgrades compared to the predecessors. Mi 10 came to India a few months later, so Mi 11 launch in India is expected as well. Mi 11 India launch may happen by March 2021.

Poco F2

Poco F2 will soon launch in India. Poco F1 successor is in development, and it could be coming in anytime. Poco has been aggressively launching phones in the budget, mid-budget and mid-range segment, but won’t enter the flagship space immediately. Poco F2 is in the works, and it will take some time to launch in India. The first Poco phone, Poco F1 launched in August 2018.

Nothing about Poco F2 is out yet, but expect some top-end specifications on a budget pricing with a flagship-grade chipset. The Poco F1 successor will not be a rebranded Redmi phone, but an original model.

Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max

The upcoming Redmi Note 10 series could come as a massive upgrade over its predecessor. Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro are said to come with the 108-megapixel camera. Redmi Note 10 could become the most affordable 108MP camera phone. Leaked by Digital Chat Station, the higher-end variant of the Redmi Note 10 will come with the latest Snapdragon 750G processor, 108-megapixel primary sensor, 4800mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

The report revealed that multiple Redmi Note 10 variants will launch, which will also include a budget Redmi Note 10 model with 48-megapixel main sensor running on MediaTek’s Dimensity 720 5G chipset.

Redmi K40 / Poco X4

Redmi K40 launch is expected later this year given the alleged certification is out. The device will come with mid-range specifications. Recently Redmi K30S came out, and the upcoming Redmi phone will succeed. A certification surfaced on MIIT with model number M2011K2C. Redmi K40 will come with 5G according to the certification site confirms that. Redmi K40 is tipped to be powered by the unannounced Snapdragon 775 SoC 5G.

K40 will be a mid-range mobile platform from Qualcomm, which will replace the current Snapdragon 765G series. Snapdragon 875 will power the Pro model, the Redmi K40 Pro. The Pro variant will come with the top-end flagship features as 120Hz display, 108MP camera, 65W fast charging and much more. Xiaomi could launch the upcoming generation Redmi Note 10 series.  

Redmi K40 Pro / Poco F3 Pro

Redmi K30 Pro may come to India as Poco F2 Pro or Poco X2 Pro with Snapdragon 865 powering it. Though the launch has been delayed for long, we are still expecting it by 2020. As Redmi K30 Pro dons the latest Qualcomm flagship, the next generation Redmi K40 Pro will run on Snapdragon 888, which may come to India as Poco F3 Pro or Poco X3 Pro in 2021.

Poco F3 Pro or Redmi K40 Pro will come with a 108MP primary camera. Redmi K40 Pro will come with 120Hz refresh rate display, multi camera setup, 12GB RAM, 5G connectivity and more. The device will be powered by Snapdragon 888.

Redmi 10, Redmi 10 Prime, Redmi 10 Power, Redmi 10i

Xiaomi will unveil a number of phones under the Redmi 10 series in 2021. The company broadened the Redmi 9 series this year with multiple phones in the budget category, and expect a similar show by Xiaomi in 2021. The Redmi 10 series will be a grand one with multiple smartphones ranging from the under Rs 7,000 category to a number of phones to under Rs 10,000 and Rs 12,000 category. Redmi 9 Power is yet to arrive in the third week of December.

So, Xiaomi will keep unveiling Redmi 10 series phones all round the year starting in the first quarter of 2021. Among the upcoming Redmi phones in 2021, a major chunk of the devices will fall in the Redmi 10 series.


Poco M3, Poco M3 Pro

Poco M3 has already been unveiled, and the device will be unveiled globally in 2021. Poco M3 will take on the likes of Realme Narzo 20A, Realme C15 and Infinix Hot 9 Pro. Poco M3 Pro will be soon hitting the markets as well based on the Redmi Note 10 series. Poco M3 will run on Snapdragon 662 SoC with a massive 6,000mAh battery underneath. Poco M3 India price is expected to start at Rs 8,999 for the budget category.

While, the Poco M3 Pro will be a mid-budget device in the 15,000 category. Poco M3 Pro leaks have already started to pour in, and it’s expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10 Pro global unit. Poco M3 Pro launch is expected in Q2 2021.

Mi Note 10 Lite / Mi 10i

Mi Note 10 Lite India launch was expected this year, but it may happen early 2021. The device will launch in India as Mi 10i, that’s what the recent leak says. Mi Note 10 Lite India launch is expected in September. Tipped by XDA, it has been found that Xiaomi is working on a new smartphone especially for the Indian market with the codename “tocoin”. Mi Note 10 Lite was unveiled in China in late April alongside Redmi Note 9. The company unveiled the latter recently, and now it’s time for Mi 10i. 

Mi Note 10 Lite is a camera-centric value-for-money device offering a 64MP quad-camera setup backed by premium features. Mi Note 10 Lite in India will be rebranded as Mi 10i. The company will place Mi 10i as a spiritual successor to the Redmi K20 in the sub-20,000 segment. Mi 10i India launch is yet to be confirmed officially.
