Google India has announced its Year in Search 2020 results, it seems like popular singer Kanika Kapoor, actors Amitabh Bachchan, Rhea Chakraborty, Ankita Lokhande and Kangana Ranaut have emerged as the most searched personalities on the Google search engine this year.

Arnab Goswami, Kanika Kapoor, Amitabh Bacchan Among Most Searched Personalities on Google India
As per Google India’s Year in Search 2020 results, popular Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor was the most searched personality. She has probably made it to the list because of her being the first celebrity to be infected with the Coronavirus pandemic. She also attracted attention for not following the rules of the lockdown, for which, an FIR was also registered against her.
Newly elected President of the United States, Joe Biden and journalist Arnab Goswami also made it to the list.
Amitabh Bacchan stands at the fifth position of the most searched list, and he had also been infected with the COVID-19 virus, along with his family members Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan.
The demise of Sushant Singh resulted in an increased search for his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. She was also accused of supplying marijuana to Sushant and spent about a month in Byculla Jail before she was released.
Ankita Lokhande, Kangana Ranaut In Top 10 Most Searched Personalities
This incident also increased the search for Ankita Lokhande, a popular TV actress who is an ex-girlfriend of Sushant Singh Rajput. She had joined the family of the late actor to demand justice for him.
Kangana Ranaut was another one of the most searched personalities in India as per the blog released by Google India. The actress recently joined Twitter and has also been known for speaking out her mind about the Hindi Film industry and accusing them of playing a role in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
