Google Pixel XE To Challenge iPhone SE? Live Photos Out, Key Details Revealed

Google Pixel XE details are out along with live photos. Important details have been leaked including design of the device. The company recently unveiled Pixel 4a 5G and the Google Pixel 5, while the affordable Pixel 4a is available in India now. The company is now working on another special variant to directly challenge iPhone SE.

The upcoming Google smartphone will reportedly be called the Google Pixel XE.

The leaked live photos revealed key details about the Pixel device. Pixel XE will be in line with Pixel 4a and will come with a wide frame display and slight bezels. The display shows a punch-hole camera. Pixel XE could be a more affordable version of Pixel 4a.

The leaked images confirm NFC support on Pixel XE with support for two SIM cards. 

There’s also no more information out, but a lot is being expected from the smartphone. Pixel XE launch is expected in early 2021, and it will directly challenge iPhone SE and OnePlus 8 in the mid-range and entry premium category. 

Currently, Pixel 4a is the most affordable Google smartphone. 

Google Pixel 4a features a 5.81-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a punch-hole. The device has a punch-hole display with the hole at the top right corner with a slight chin down under. Pixel 4a is powered by the mid-range Qualcomm chip, Snapdragon 730 SoC.

The device has a fingerprint sensor at the back with the camera on the top left featuring a square bump.

At the back, the Google midrange smartphone features a single camera at the back, a 12.2-megapixel rear shooter. There’s an 8-megapixel front-facing camera upfront. Pixel 4a packs in 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The Pixel device houses a standard 3,080mAh battery under the hood with 18W fast charging support.
