United Kingdom has officially become the 1st nation in the world to approve mass usage of a Covid-19 vaccine.

And the distribution and vaccination for its citizens start next week.

Does this mean that we are finally able to say bye bye to the Coronavirus virus?

UK Approves Pfizer Vaccine For All Citizens

United Kingdom has become the 1st nation in the world to approve the Covid-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer, and has announced vaccination of all citizens starting next week.

The U.K. Department of Health and Social Care has confirmed that the vaccine developed by US based Pfizer and Germany’s BioNTech has been approved, and ready to use.

This way, UK has become the 1st nation to roll out mass vaccination for eradicating coronavirus.

A representative from U.K. Department of Health and Social Care said, “The Government has today accepted the recommendation from the independent Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to approve Pfizer/BioNTech’s Covid-19 vaccine for use,”

As per the official, the emergency usage of Pfizer vaccine has been approved after “months of rigorous clinical trials and a thorough analysis of the data by experts at the MHRA who have concluded that the vaccine has met its strict standards of safety, quality and effectiveness.”

How Will This Work Out?

As per the reports coming in, all senior citizens, frontline healthcare workers and patients with severe conditions will be administered this vaccine first, and then other demographics will be targeted.

Pfizer, along with Oxford and Moderna were among the 1st pharma companies to start working on the vaccine.

In India, the vaccine developed by Oxford is expected to be rolled out for all citizens, which is being manufactured by Serum Institute in Pune.

US Too Begins Mass Vaccination

US Govt too has almost approved the vaccine developed by Pfizer, and a mass rollout is expected to begin from December 11th.

Although no official confirmation has come in.

Reports state that massive consignments of Pfizer vaccine have left Belgium and entered US for this exercise.
