  •  The Multinational IT Company To Focus On Training Programs.

In the wake of the lockdown imposed all over the country because of the covid-19 pandemic, many of the employees have lost their jobs and some companies have also cut off a certain percentage of their employees’ salary. But with the improving situation, now the companies are repaying their employees and also returning their deducted salary.

It is reported that the multinational IT firm, Accenture, is not only going to pay its employees their base salary but is also providing bonuses and promotions to their employees all over India.

Bonuses and Promotions Laid Out By Accenture

Accenture gives biannual bonus to its employees. According to the sources, the bonus given in the month of November was at 75% of the target amount higher than the amount paid in the month of me.

The company is increasing the salaries of Junior and Middle level employees by 6% to 11%. However, the company did not reveal the exact amount that is going to be paid as the bonus or the number of positions open for promotion.

“In addition to training, we have given meaningful pay raises and bonuses aligned to our fiscal year 2020 performance. We are planning for a significant level of promotions in our December cycle and remain deeply committed to pay equity,” a company spokesperson said.

Accenture To Focus More on Training

There has been a slight boost in recruitment in the IT sector because of the situation caused by the pandemic. The company has also decided to hire new employees and pay more attention towards their training.

“We increased training hours by 6 percent, spending approximately $900 million and leveraging our robust digital learning platforms. Since March 1, 2020, in our technology services alone, we trained more than 70,000 of our people in the hot skills needed by our clients, including cloud and infrastructure collaboration tools,” the company stated.

A few months back, the company also hinted towards removing 5% of the lowest performers. Hence among the 2 lakh Indian employees Accenture has, 10,000 employees were kicked out of the company. But at the same time, it seems like a good performer at Accenture has got a lot of perks.
