The fifth-generation Honda City hatchback model that launched in Thailand will soon be launching in India in the coming weeks. As per reports, in Thailand, the hatchback model was launched in 3 variants namely S+, SV, and RS.
The base variant of this new hatchback will start at Rs 14.6 lakh, as per this report.
The new car is also expected to introduce the same variant in more ASEAN countries, although no announcement has been made by the Japanese carmaker.

Powertrain Details
The new Honda City hatchback will be powered by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo petrol engine with 122 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and a peak torque 173Nm between 2,000 and 4,500rpm. The transmission duties include a CVT transmission as standard.
Exterior
The Honda City hatchback looks identical to its sedan sibling, the fifth generation Honda City that is currently in the country. However, at the rear, we see a new pair of LED lights, and a revised rear bumper. The hatchback also features LED front fog lights, LED headlights with integrated LED DRLs, and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Interior and Features
The interiors of the Honda City hatchback are similar to City. The only difference is that City sports a dual-tone interior scheme with light shades, whereas the hatchback gets an all-black interior theme. The hatchback will have a 5-seater cabin.
The features of the hatchback include an 8-inch Advanced Touchscreen display that supports  Bluetooth, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, keyless entry, push start/stop button, automatic climate control, paddle shifters, cruise control among others. The safety features include an emergency signal system, six airbags, a balance control system, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Auto Door Lock by Speed-Sensors, and a rear parking camera.
