Voice, Video Calls For Whatsap Desktop Users: How Will It Work?

As per folks at WABetaInfo, desktop users of Whatsapp will be able to make and receive voice and videos calls, right from the desktop itself.

As per the screenshots shared by WABetaInfo, a new window will pop-up, as soon as a call (voice or video) comes in.

The user can simply accept or reject the call. If accepted, the call will start in that same pop-up window, and then the window will close as soon as the call is over.

In case a user wants to make a call, then they will need to open that contact’s listing, and press the call button, just like Whatsapp’s mobile version.

In this case as well, a new popup window will open up, especially for the new call (voice or video)
