Flipkart Big Billion Sales: Pre-Book Any Product At Re 1 From Oct 11; But What’s The Catch?

In an innovative push to ensure availability of hot selling products during the Big Billion Day Sales 2020, Flipkart has now launched a pre-booking facility for all products.

This will not only ensure the product’s availability to the users, but also give some extra time to the shoppers to compare and choose their products.

Prebook Any Product At Re 1 On Flipkart Big Billion Day Sales

Flipkart’s Big Billion Day Sales is starting from October 16th, and will d on 21st October.

As observed in the last few years, during such massive sales, time usually runs out for the shoppers, and their favourite products are out of stock in no time.

In order to stop this, Flipkart has now introduced a very interesting ‘pre-book’ offer, between October 11th and October 14th.

Under this offer, Flipkart users can pre-book any items they like for Re 1, and book its availability.

Then, on October 16th, they can come back, and pay the full amount, and get the product shipped.

This way, they will ensure that the product is available for them, and not becomes out of stock.

Nandita Sinha, Vice President – Events, Engagement & Merchandising at Flipkart, said “This Big Billion Days, we are bringing many ‘firsts’ to Indian consumers and the pre-book store is one such initiative that we believe will make their shopping experience more meaningful. Consumers will not just get a sneak-peak into the Big Billion Days’ offers, but will also be able to plan their purchases in advance by paying just Re.1.”

Pre-Booking On Flipkart: What’s The Catch?

As we read the terms and conditions, the only catch we found is that pre-booked items wont be eligible for bank offers, while making the full payment on October 16th.

This means that on some products, the users can miss out of the bank offers, which are rolled out at the time of the sale, that is October 16th to October 21st.

Besides, the full payment needs to be made on October 16th evening, else the pre-booking will be cancelled.

And lastly, the pre-booking wont be available on all the products, but only on selected products.
