It seems that Airtel is on a war-footing exercise to enhance user experience and delight their users.

And Jio is losing in this battle.

As per fresh reports coming in, Airtel has again beaten Jio when it comes to download speed, video experience and gaming experience, and this is not a good news for Jio.

OpenSignal Report: Airtel Has Beaten Jio

As per the latest report from Open Signal for the month of September, Airtel has aced all the metrics for download speed as well as overall experience of video watching, and game playing.

In all the major metrics, Airtel has beaten Reliance Jio.

For four of the biggest metrics: Video Experience, Games Experience, Voice App Experience and Download Speed Experience, Airtel is on top of the list, thereby beating not only Jio but Vi (Vodafone-Idea’s new entity), and BSNL.

For 90 days, OpenSignal tracked and monitored mobile data services of Airtel, Jio, Vi and BSNL across 49 cities.

Out of these cities, Airtel claimed #1 position for Video Experience in 31 cities and Good Experience in 7 cities.

The report highlighted that Airtel is delivering powerful data service in Tier 2 cities, compared to all other telecom players.

Airtel’s Win Against Jio Continues

For the video experience metrics, Airtel has claimed #1 position for 4 times in row, and this is a major achievement for Airtel.

In the Good Video Experience (55-65) category, Airtel was the only telecom being ranked, and none of the other Indian telecom firm was able to even enter the list.

Airtel measured 3.4 points, which is 6.3% more than the second-place competitor.

In the Voice App category, Airtel topped the chart second time in row, with an impressive score of 75.5 out of 100. The quality of usage on OTTs such as Whatsapp, Messenger etc was monitored for this category.

Games experience was a metrics which was introduced first time by OpenSignal, and Airtel has topped the charts here as well. They scored 55.6 out of 100.

For the download speed test, Airtel has claimed #1 position for 6th time in row with score of 10.4 Mbps, highest among all telecom operators.
