As per a shocking revelation, as much as Rs. 13 lakh worth of fake Realme products have been seized in Mumbai.
Five people have been arrested by the police for selling counterfeit Realme products, as confirmed by Realme itself.

Five People Selling Counterfeit Realme Products Arrested; Rs. 13 Lakh Worth Products Seized
Cops raided five shops in the Manish Market of Mumbai and five people have been arrested for selling counterfeit Realme products. This included many accessories including the earphones and wireless earbuds of the popular smartphone manufacturer.
All the counterfeit products were seized which turned out to be as much as worth rupees 13 lakh. About 1370 fake accessories by Realme have been confiscated during the raid.
Madhav Sheth, who is both the Vice President of Realme and Chief Executive Officer of Realme India said that there have been a lot of people who have been selling fake products of Realme in the market. He has also requested customers to verify the authenticity of the products on the company’s website www.realme.com.
As per him, raids are being conducted regularly and strict action against the sellers selling fake products is being taken by the company.
Realme To Conduct Similar Raids Throughout The Country
Realme has also said that they are planning to conduct similar raids throughout the country to put a stop to the sale of fake products. The company currently sells its products online through its official website and other online partners.
He said, “ We have grown exponentially and have established ourselves as a brand that offers products with outstanding designs, advanced technology, and industry-leading qualities. Our industry has time and again faced the issue of dealing with fake products and we hope that together we can find a solution to stop this corrupt practice.”
In February, Realme had issued a warning against a fake company that was asking for franchisee partnerships. Apparently, a fake website was created by the fraudsters, www.realmepartner.in and they were asking for franchisee partnerships that were not owned by Realme. The company also said that it will not take any responsibility of the people that did business through this website.
