According to Apple India, its much-awaited online store is finally going to be launched in a few days, to be exact on September 23.

Online Apple Store Launch

The online store is going live just in time before the shopping spree begins, which is normally seen during the festive period with upcoming festivals like Dussehra, Diwali and further extend to Christmas and new years.

The upcoming online store would be offering all the products from Apple and in addition to that, customer support will also be offered for the first time as well.

So far, Apple products have been sold through e-commerce stores such as Amazon or Flipkart, however reportedly Apple was working to get its own store online before Diwali.

In addition to that, Apple relied on authorized distributors and retailers in India for offline sales, until now.

But this would change as now with this upcoming Apple online store for India, it will be accessible on Apple.com/in and join the existing league of similar e-commerce platforms that Apple has in 37 other countries, including the US and UK.

The company was supposed to launch this much sooner than 23, September, but its plans were disrupted by the coronavirus outbreak.

Services Provided By Online Apple Store

With this new launch, it will become Apple’s first direct retail presence in the country.

Apart from the new sale, the upcoming store will also offer trade-in for your existing iPhones as well as other smartphones when you buy a new Apple iPhone from the Apple India online store.

Giving importance to communication, now customers will be able to have access to Apple Specialists who can guide users in their purchases and provide support.

This means that Apple consumers will be able to receive direct guidance and support from Apple, that too in the languages of their preference including English and Hindi languages.

Apart from these services, the online store will also offer buyers the ability to custom configure any Mac before purchasing.

Further, Apple is also planning on providing discounts on accessories to students as well as special pricing on Macs and iPads, as well as offering financing options, and a trade-in program.

In addition to that, Apple is planning to offer add-ons like gift wraps and custom engraving, likely to make gift-giving on Diwali more appealing and sessions focused on photography and music, as well.

Consumers will be able to purchase Apple Care+ online, which will extend your warranty with up to 2 years of technical support and accidental damage cover.

For the delivery, all orders will be shipped with contactless delivery fulfilled by BlueDart within 24 to 72 hours of placing the order.
