Xiaomi Applies For Patent Of Unique Bunny Ears Pop-Up Cameras Design
popular smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi has already applied for a patent on the camera design that would be using two pop-up cameras on each side that would look like a “bunny ears” arrangement.
As per reports, each of the units of the camera would pop out at an angle of the phone. It will also have a camera for both the front and back. Reports suggest that this would be a much simpler way to incorporate dual front and rear cameras. Additionally, it would also eliminate the requirement for a notch or a hole punch on the screen of the phone. There is also the possibility of such a phone having better quality fir wide angle selfies and other camera aspects
The company has implemented popup cameras before, but there is no guarantee that it would actually use this design in an actual shipping phone.
There’s also the possibility of this being a place holder design as this is a patent.
Xiaomi Mi Display To Come With Transparent Monitor Of 27 Inches
A China-based report has revealed that Xiaomi will be adding transparent products to its Mi Display range, and this starts with a transparent monitor, 27 inches wide, on the Mi Display, sometime in 2021.
The Mi Display uses an OLED panel from Samsung.
The reports haven’t confirmed if this transparent monitor would be used on a television or a monitor. There also is speculation about this being a dual-purpose TV monitor as well. However, the size of the 27 inch Xiaomi transparent device suggests that it would probably be a desktop or a PC monitor.
The company would probably wait for the outcome of the Mi TV Lux before going ahead with transparent devices.
