Asus ZenFone 7, ZenFone 7 Pro: Asus 7Z, Asus 7Z Pro

Asus ZenFone 7 series will be unveiled today globally. As previously leaked, the company is expected to launch two devices under the ZenFone 7 series as part of the upcoming Asus entry-premium flagship lineup. The series will include the ZenFone 7 and the ZenFone 7 Pro. Asus 6Z came with dual cameras, while Asus 7Z and Asus 7Z Pro will pack more sensors into the flippable camera unit, probably a quad camera setup.

NCC listing also revealed 512GB internal storage, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity. The TUV Rheinland certification from Japan confirms the device with 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging technology support. The device will ship with the fast charger. 

Geekbench listing codenamed ‘Asus ZF’ confirmed ZenFone 7 with a Qualcomm chipset, 16GB of RAM and Android 10 out of the box. With 16GB of RAM as the upcoming Asus ROG 3, the Asus 7Z will run on Snapdragon 865 chipset. While nothing has been officially confirmed, Asus ZF could be ZenFone 7. Asus ZenFone 7 / Asus 7Z will pack in 512GB of storage, Snapdragon 865 chipset and 5G connectivity. 

OnePlus Budget Phone: Nord Lite 4G

An upcoming OnePlus phone has been leaked online, but with some peculiar specs. It isn’t OnePlus 8T or OnePlus 9 or any OnePlus phone running on the top-end Snapdragon processor. It’s surprisingly a budget OnePlus smartphone found with entry-level Snapdragon 460 SoC, a budget Qualcomm chip launched earlier in the year. The new OnePlus phone is the second to leak this month after another OnePlus phone was found to be running on Snapdragon 690 5G SoC, tipped to be OnePlus Nord Lite 5G. 

OnePlus may come up with multiple Nord phones for different line-ups. The new OnePlus phone is tipped to be the most affordable from OnePlus ever.

Recently a leak revealed an affordable OnePlus device with support for downgraded 18W fast charging. The upcoming budget OnePlus device could be the one with entry level features. The budget OnePlus phone will be a part of the Nord series. The company already unveiled the original OnePlus Nord last month in the country.

New Poco Phone / Poco F2

A mysterious Poco FCC listing with model number M2007J20CG and M2007J20CT reveals some new information about an upcoming Poco phone. The same handset received TKDN and EEC certifications recently and it’s a 4G device. The Poco-branded 4G smartphone has passed multiple certifications, and the latest listing reveals battery, charging speed and rear design, maybe it’s the successor to the very successful Poco F1.

The FCC listing of the upcoming 4G Poco smartphone confirms MIUI 12, BN57 battery and MDY-12-EA 33W Xiaomi charger i.e 33W fast charging support.

The device has already received the BIS from India and TÜV Rheinland Japan certification. TÜV Rheinland listing revealed the battery capacity. The device will pack in a sizable 5,160mAh battery with 33W fast charging technology support. The Poco FCC listing also revealed the rear design. The sketch hints at a 64MP camera setup inside a rounded rectangle platform at the centre.

iPhone 12

Leaked Apple 12 prices by My Drivers (via GizChina) gave us the first expected iPhone 12 prices. The iPhone 12 series will start at $649 (around Rs 49,220). OnePlus 8 comes at a similar price in the Western markets. In the US, the OnePlus 8 price starts at $699 (around Rs 53,090). Even the last iPhone 11 series came at a starting price of $699 (around Rs 53,090 approximately).

So, iPhone 12 is going to be cheaper than both current OnePlus 8 and even the predecessor, iPhone 11. Further, the report claims the iPhone 12 with 6.1-inch OLED screen model and LiDAR sensors will be priced at $999 (around Rs 95,750).

Realme X7 Series: Realme X7, Realme X7 Pro

Realme X7 series launch confirmed on September 1. Realme X7 smartphone series will arrive in China on Sept 1, officially confirmed. Realme has confirmed that it will be introducing a new X7 smartphone series, which will include Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro.

Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro phones will first launch in China, and then in India. Reamme X7 India launch will happen in the same month probably. Realme X7 in India may come as Realme 7 succeeding the Realme 6 series. Realme X7 Pro in India similarly will launch as Realme 7 Pro to continue with the series.

Realme X7 price is expected to remain in the INR 15,000 to 18,000 bracket given it will support 5G. While Realme X7 Pro price will probably cross the INR 20,000 category in the mid-range segment. Realme X7 India price will be in line with the Chinese pricing and similar Realme X7 Pro India price will as well be in the same category. Realme X7 in India may come as Realme 7and Realme X7 Pro as Realme 7 Pro to continue with the same name series.

Google Pixel 4a

Google Pixel 4a India launch will happen either in September or October. It’s a great phone on budget, and the latest Google Pixel 4a can take on the likes of OnePlus Nord, iPhone SE 2020, Redmi K20 Pro and Realme X3 SuperZoom in the country in the sub-30,000 budget segment. Pixel 4a in India may cost Rs 29,999. Pixel 4a will come to India by the fall.

Google Pixel 4A features a 5.81-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a punch-hole.

Pixel 4A is powered by the mid-range Qualcomm chip, Snapdragon 730 SoC. At the back, the Google midrange smartphone will feature a single camera at the back, a 12.2-megapixel rear shooter.

There will be an 8-megapixel front-facing camera paired. The system will come with upto 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. Pixel 4A will have eSIM support. The device will house a 3,080mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Pixel 4a India price is expected at Rs 29,999, or probably in and around the same pricing segment.

Mi 10 Ultra

Mi 10 Ultra is a big success in China. Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra went on sale in China and the company claimed it sold out a $57.7 million shipment in the first ten minutes. If compared, the first sales of Mi 10 Pro only half of the same. The total Mi 10 Ultra sales can range from 57,000 to 75,500 thousand units. Xiaomi celebrated 10 years of making smartphones with the special edition Mi 10 Ultra. The device has been labelled as the super-premium flagship from Xiaomi.

It directly challenges the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series. Mi 10 Ultra features 120Hz refresh rate display, 50W wireless charging and 120W wired fast charging. Around the back, Mi 10 Ultra packs a periscope module with a large 48MP sensor and 120x digital zoom, larger 48MP primary shooter, shorter telephoto unit and a 13mm ultrawide camera.

Galaxy M51

Galaxy M51 key specifications have already been leaked. The latest leak confirms an insane 7,000mAh battery on the Galaxy M51. That’s not all, the device will also include a Super AMOLED Display and 8GB of RAM. It’s a perfect combination and Samsung isn’t leaving any department less attractive. Samsung Galaxy M51 will come with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ display from CSOT with Infinity-O punch-hole cutout.

In terms of optics, Galaxy M51 will feature a quad-camera system at the back sporting a 64MP primary shooter, a 12MP secondary lens alongside a depth and macro shooter. Lastly, Samsung Galaxy M51 will pack in the much talked about 7,000mAh battery with fast-charging support (25W expected) alongside 128GB expandable storage.

Mi Note 10 Lite / Mi 10i

Mi Note 10 Lite may launch in India as Mi 10i. Yes, that’s what the recent leak says. Tipped by XDA, it has been found that Xiaomi is working on a new smartphone especially for the Indian market with the codename “tocoin”. The device has been spotted in the June 2020 code, hence Mi 10i India launch could be imminent. Mi Note 10 Lite was unveiled in China in late April alongside Redmi Note 9. The company unveiled the latter recently, and now it’s time for Mi 10i. 

Mi Note 10 Lite is a camera-centric value-for-money device offering a 64MP quad-camera setup backed by premium features. Mi Note 10 Lite in India will be rebranded as Mi 10i. The company will place Mi 10i as a spiritual successor to the Redmi K20 in the sub-20,000 segment.

Redmi K40

Redmi K40 leaked online alongside Xiaomi 120W charger. The leaked details reveal Redmi K40 with MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset, 120Hz LCD display and 4,500mAh battery. Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo leaked out the details hinted at the device being Redmi K40. It was previously spotted with 33W fast charging support on China’s 3C certification site. Redmi K30 was unveiled last year, while the upcoming Redmi K40 could be Poco X3 in India.

Poco X3 could be a remodelled Redmi K40 as well. The new smartphone spotted online could be Redmi K40 as more details are being revealed. The 120W charger from Xiaomi will become the fastest charging technology available commercially.
