Apple iPhone SE brings back the old and much favourite 4.7-inch Retina HD Display and compact design language with a new glass built.

The current pricing makes iPhone SE 2020 an attractive option given competitors as costlier OnePlus 8, cheaper Realme X3 SuperZoom and other 5G phones as iQoo 3 5G or Realme X50 Pro 5G.

iPhone SE 2020 will be facing some heat when Pixel 4a comes to the country, and the fight will be a feat to watch as the latest Google mid-ranger also packs in the best of features this time at a good price.

Coming back to the specs, iPhone SE 2020 is powered by the latest A13 Bionic chipset. iPhone SE 2020 comes in three storage options in India: 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.

In the optics department, iPhone SE 2020 features a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture. The camera packs in Portrait mode, six Portrait Lighting effects, Depth Control and other Pro modes. Up front, the iPhone SE 2020 has a 7-megapixel camera which uses ML and monocular depth estimation.

Apple Online Store For India: More Cheaper iPhones In India?

Apple is all set to open an online store in India for the first time. The company has faced slumped growth and low sales in the country in the last few years. As it continues to lose out to its competitors in the premium category, the company is planning to grow aggressively in the country as the global smartphone market has been shrinking repeatedly.

The fast-growing smartphone market in India still has some huge scope, and Apple will try to capitalise the same. Also it has been spending heavily to manufacture iPhones in the country for consumers here and the Global market.

Apple will be sourcing 30 percent of the components locally before it starts to sell iPhones and other Apple products online in India.

The Cupertino based two-trillion tech company will also be opening up a second online store in Bangalore, followed by an outlet in Mumbai and a few more in other metro cities. Apple currently sells products in India via owned franchise partners and online platforms. Apple will also assemble iPhone 11 in India apart from iPhone SE 2020.

Apple manufactures iPhones in India through its partners as Foxconn Technology Group, Wistron Corp. and Pegatron Corp. The sales are picking up, and Apple dominated the Indian premium smartphone segment during the second quarter with a whopping market share of 49 percent, according to the IDC quarterly data. iPhone 11 and iPhone XR together took up 28 percent of the shipments, and it is expected to outperform in the Q3 as well.
