Indian Students Who Are Online Gamers Will Get Govt Jobs
As per reports coming in, the Union Education Ministry is planning to roll out Govt jobs for students who are good in playing online games like PUBG and Fortnite and more.
As per the plan, Govt will conduct massive national level hackathons, to identify those students and gamers who excel in playing online games.
And based on their performance, they will be provided Govt jobs.
Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has confirmed this development.
Hackathons are competition, usually in the field of coding and programming, but also covers gaming now. Participants are divided into teams, and they normally spend 24-48 hours on a project and then results are evaluated based on their live performance.
For an online gaming hackathon, participants who are experts in PUBG, Fortnite and other online games will slog it out and the best performers will be offered a Govt job.
However, it’s not yet clear what type of Govt job will be offered to the winners of these hackathons.
Students Will Be Taught Puppet-Making, Toys
Besides online gaming, offline games will also be encouraged and promoted by the Govt of India.
As per the directives issued by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, students will be taught skills like making toys, puppets and more.
This training will be benchmarked against international standards, and will help the students to use their skills to make a name for themselves and India, all over the world.
Toy technology and online gaming, both will be developed as a high-end, most sought after skill sets for the students.
